For example, our AI can contact venues by email and phone to get availability, deal with back-and-forth negotiations, and present the best options.We’ve proudly planned events ranging from Amazon’s intimate executive dinners in New York, to Quantstamp’s product launch in Turkey, to Google’s offsite at Universal.Within the first 6 months of launching, Nowadays has experienced exponential growth, growing from $0 to $3.4M in booked revenue from customers including Amazon, Google, and Notion.Nowadays’ leadership team is comprised of talented MIT software engineering graduates as well as prestigious backgrounds including Google, Meta, Amazon, Doordash, and McKinsey.Mission:At Nowadays, our mission is to simplify the process of bringing people together by leveraging cutting-edge AI to automate the complexities of event planning. As a founding engineer, you'll be instrumental in driving technological innovations that make this mission a reality, transforming the event planning landscape and creating seamless experiences for our clients.💼 

What You’ll DoResponsibilities:

Maintain and expand our Next.js and Supabase applications

Grow and refine our database of 400K venues and vendors

Innovate and automate our processes, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with AI in event planning

Manage full-stack development and ensure fast, reliable product shipping

Continuously iterate on our AI models to enhance negotiation, contracting, and payment processes

Experience in Full-Stack (React, TypeScript, Python)

Confidence in shipping end-to-end products

Strong bias for action and will to succeed; highly resourceful

Passion for using AI to innovate the event planning industry and bring people together

Adaptability and comfort in navigating ambiguity, shifting directives, and rapidly evolving market conditions

$100K-$150K

0.25% - 1% equity
