Mailmodo, an early-stage SaaS platform, is trying to disrupt email marketing by bringing interactivity and intelligence right inside the emails. Mailmodo provides a no-code platform for marketers to increase their email conversion rate by letting them convert their emails into apps using forms, surveys, calendars, shopping carts, and more.

Role and responsibilities

We are seeking a Content Marketer for a full-time role with an inclination toward content writing. You'll collaborate with our SEO and product marketing team to craft compelling content for top-of-the-funnel to bottom-of-the-funnel consumption. The role requires the candidate to maximize the impact of content on business goals. The candidate will also work with a network of collaborators to design and ship content for maximum impact.

The roles and responsibilities are-

Content operations and writing

Ideate and write content for Mailmodo guides and landing pages.
Update and upgrade existing content to improve SERP rankings and conversions.
Work with other writers to edit, proofread, and fact-check content.
Collaborate with designers to create relevant assets, email templates, etc.
Partner up with SEO managers

Strategy and analysis

Plan and collaborate with the team to execute new ideas for improving content marketing ROI.
Create reports using GA4 and GSC to analyze page ranks and conversions and discuss with the team for improvement.
Build quarterly/monthly plans for the execution of content operations.
Work with the content team to distribute content.

Subject matter, product & customer research-

Stay current on news and trends in email marketing and check in/talk to customers to understand pain points, value props, and improve messaging.
Research competitors’ products and GTMs. Work on initiatives across the company to educate colleagues.
Learn about email marketing and related subject matter to improve the content.
Interview or survey subject matter experts to produce good quality content.

Top traits we are looking for

Prior experience in technical content writing.

Content marketing experience is preferred.

Ability/aspiration to lead, inspire, and mentor direct and/or indirect reports.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization

Excellent written and verbal communication in at least English.
